This particular project saw the refurbishment of all floors of the CBXII West Wing on Midsummer Boulevard in Milton Keynes which included the ground floor reception through to the Fourth Floor Offices.  The offices were fitted out to a CAT A standard and the works consisted of the installation of Mitsubishi heat recovery VRF systems. Each floor was designed on the principle of the floor being sub-let to two different tenants therefore allowing each tenant independent control of their own heating and cooling systems. All new condensers were installed at roof level and replaced redundant R22 equipment which previously conditioned the building.

The reception area to the building was completely modernised and included a complete refurbishment of both the services and the finishes of this area.

All internal units were of the void mounted chassis type units and BMS were responsible for the supply and installation of secondary ductwork and new tile replacement diffusers. Each system was provided with a centralised controller located within the core areas but the systems also have the facility to simultaneously heat and cool from each internal unit.

BMS also provided the public health services to the core areas on each floor which consisted of a complete replacement of the sanitary appliances and installation of new hot, cold and waste water systems.
